Peter de Bie in Here comes big trouble; partly re-shot from screen Steenbeck editingtable.
Resulting from a 2007 Kodak Vision 3 negative test; on top of shooting the traditional test in the studio, there was the chance to shoot a film using the 35mm and 16mm stock on location. A week before christmas 2007 we shot on the beach from IJmuiden aan Zee a film about beach restaurant The Beach Inn, portraying its new owner specially, Mr. Peter de Bie. The material was both scanned and printed afterwards, leading to the idea to both edit and project the film using filmequipment.
The material was shot using ARRI 435 EXTREME, AATON XTRA and Cooke S4 lenses. The editing was done on a 16/35 mm combi-table from Steenbeck that will also be used for the screening from the footage with sound, together with a 35 mm cinemaprojector and videoprojections with sound.
